Shocking Growth!
How often do you and I miss a significant message that Jesus is communicating? What do I mean? What was the typical return rate when farmers planted their seeds during the time of Jesus? In that day, you would get three times the amount you planted. In an amazing season, the return rate would be seven times that which was planted. In Mark 4:1-12, Jesus told the story of the Sower and the soil. Most times, we focus on the three soils that yield no fruit. Jesus climaxes the parable with what happens in the good, fertile soil. The good soil, that Jesus talks about, yields a crop of thirty, sixty, one hundred-fold. Jesus’ hearers would have considered that insane. That much growth is impossible! It can’t happen! An amazing yield would be six – tenfold. But one hundred! No way. But that is what God can do in and through the lives of the people in which he dwells. At the Leaders of Faith Foundation, we are sowing seeds in the lives of elected officials. The ground is being broken up and tilled. That soil is being fertilized. The fields are being watered.
What does it mean or could it mean that you are a part of this field?
What do your prayers do in the fertilization and fruit-bearing process? How is God using your financial investment to multiply the fruit in the magnificent ways that only he can yield? How do you feel about having such a vital part in this fantastic adventure in seeing our government officials bearing fruit and experiencing community in God’s grace?
Our Dreams
A Residence in Harrisburg. We want to provide a safe place for state officials to reside while they are in session. One that will protect them from the attacks of the enemy. One that will add to the healthy community that will help them flourish. Please pray that God will lead us to a good property. Please pray that people will be so drawn to this vision that they will give to purchase the property. While it is about bricks and mortar, it is more about being a place of peace, community, and safety that will reflect God’s heart for the
residents.
Starting an Internship Program at The Capitol. Bringing young people to disciple, serve, learn, and grow.
There are many young people that are serving at the state and federal levels of government in the different offices. We would like to start such a program for followers of Christ. We can invest in them while they serve. They would represent Christ as they serve in their different offices. They would also be able to reach out and be
ambassadors of Christ to other interns.
Would you help us make these possibilities a reality?
If you are already a partner, would you consider increasing your investment whether that be monthly or one-time? If you aren’t a donor, would you ask God if he wants you to give and how much he wants you to give?
Other ways to invest.
Are there assets you would want to give to LFF such as stocks, property, vehicles? If you have IRA’s, are you aware of the need to make Required Minimum Distributions beginning at age 73? There are ways to donate to non-profits and eliminate or reduce tax charges. We would be happy to help you think through these opportunities. Leaders of Faith is seeking to raise an additional $100,000 beyond are already committed gifts in 2026. While we could pray for an additional $30,000 or $60,000, we would marvel at the blessing of God to provide the $100,000.
The soil is fruitful. Now we will watch God do his thing and celebrate his majesty.
