Daily Morning Reminder!
- I am in God’s image with an ability to respond and relate to God.
- I am filled with God’s spirit; God is at work in me through the problems and pressures I face today.
- I am part of God’s plan; therefore what I do today has significance eternally.
For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you. –Romans 12:3
From Ray Stedman, From Guilt to Glory.
Paul is writing to the Romans from the city of Corinth while on his Third Missionary Journey. He desires for the Romans to know the richness of the gospel. The good news of Jesus is expressed in the body of Christ through our love for one another. Paul shares great insights and focus upon our love for each other in the later part of this letter (Romans 12-16). Incorporate this daily reminder and explore further from Romans our love for one another!
