Great to be with the friends in Altoona! We started our visit with sharing the ministry work at Overflow Church in downtown Altoona with Pastor Richard Cox. What an incredible ministry right in the heart of Altoona with great people who love Christ and serve Him with excitement. Richard has been a great part of the Altoona Prayer Breakfast along with a core fellowship of area pastors who are impacting the city.
Monday afternoon we met with some business leaders through our Power Lunch. John Eichelberger, board member for Leaders of Faith and former State Senator, served as our MC. I was able to share about the ministry then followed by John on the value of supporting such a work. We are delighted to share with individuals and in a group format about the ministry. We are also encouraged by those who become ministry partners through their prayers and financial support to allow us to do this unique work.
