The Leaders of Faith Foundation
The work among leaders has been taking place for a number of years and with past generations. Many friends throughout the world have been laboring as servants to those in elected office. The Leaders of Faith Foundation was established as a working tool to carry out the mission of discipling leaders. We work with a number of affiliates on Capitol Hill and with state legislators. This non-profit provides the organizational structure and accountability to carry out this mission. The Leaders of Faith Foundation is a registered 501C charitable organization and registered in Pennsylvania through the Department of State as a non-profit.
Our team works towards building into the lives of our leaders eternal and lasting virtues.

John and Sandy Stait, Co-Laborers
John served as the former Assistant to the U.S. Senate Chaplain, Dr. Dick Halverson. John has work directly with State Legislators around the country. Dr. Halverson and John worked together with The National Prayer Breakfast. He helped pioneer prayer breakfast through various government venues – Mayors, Lt. Governors, Commissioners and many more. Legislators who attend these gatherings return to their home state with a vision of replicating the prayer breakfast practice within their own legislative body. Leaders give testimony that they have either come to faith or grown in their faith while in office.
The National Prayer Breakfast is held in February when most state legislators attend their legislative sessions in their home state capitols. Many legislators, unable to come to Washington in February, are given the opportunity to have a prayer breakfast at their annual legislative gatherings. Consistent with the support concept of the National Prayer Breakfast movement, a small group of volunteers formed to serve the needs of these events and their legislator organizers. This group, together with their actions, is assisted by Leaders of Faith Foundation.
John and Sandy are serving through music, training of new chaplains, meeting with Members and Staff, and hosting friends from around the world.
