SUMMARY:2024 Altoona Prayer Breakfast
DESCRIPTION:On behalf of the Altoona Prayer Breakfast Committee\, we have the pleasure of inviting you to join us for the Annual Altoona Prayer Breakfast on Thursday\, October 24th\, 2024. \n2024 Altoona Prayer Breakfast \nAnnually\, a National Prayer Breakfast is sponsored by individual members of the House and Senate to reaffirm their faith and to renew the dedication of our nation to God and His purposes. Other Prayer Breakfasts are held around the nation on state and local levels to unite our leaders and to invigorate them in their responsibilities to our citizens. \nIn harmony with the leadership of other great states\, and the National Presidential Breakfast\, and in keeping with the above ideals\, and also endeavoring to further the rich heritage in spiritual values handed down by the founding fathers of this great Republic\, the Altoona Prayer Breakfast continues to serve the community and its leaders. \n2024 Speaker:  Auntie Anne Beiler \nAuntie Anne Beiler is best known as the founder of Auntie Anne’s®\, the world’s largest pretzel franchise. But before rising to success\, Anne went through years of defeat\, despair\, and depression that kept her stuck in a place of darkness. It was through her pain\, however\, that she discovered a new purpose. \n\n\n\n\nBorn and raised in the Amish-Mennonite community of Lancaster County\, Pennsylvania\, Anne Beiler grew up surrounded by faith and family. During these years\, important life lessons were permanently weaved into the fabric of her life. She attended traditional Amish school until the 8th grade and eventually met and married her teenage crush – Jonas Beiler. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJonas and Anne’s peaceful life as newlyweds and young parents went into a tailspin after the death of their 19-month-old daughter\, Angela Joy\, who died tragically in a farming accident in 1975. Anne\, in her mid-20s at the time\, found herself descending into a world of darkness and depression\, and eventually on the brink of suicide. Despite being a faithful churchgoer\, she didn’t feel she could share her pain with friends or family members. She became silent and lost her voice. \nOut of her pain came a purpose to help others. As Anne grew Auntie Anne’s into the world’s largest pretzel franchise\, she continued to deal with depression and defeat. She felt the secrets she kept inside of her were keeping her in darkness\, and she desperately wanted to find freedom and healing. \nSo\, she began to confess. She shared her story publically – the good\, the bad\, and the ugly – and something amazing happened. She felt lighter. She started to feel freedom. Anne continued to share her story whenever she could\, and as she did\, she was able to work through all the issues that tormented her – guilt\, shame\, pain\, anger\, depression\, and the list goes on. \nAnne discovered a new view of confession and a new passion to help other women experience the same freedom she does. \nIn 2005\, Anne sold Auntie Anne’s to speak to audiences on leadership\, purpose\, and the power of confession. \n2024 Altoona Prayer Breakfast \n\n\n\n\nThursday\, October 24th\, 2024 \n7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.    (Doors Open at 7:00 a.m.) \nThe Casino at Lakemont\n300 Lakemont Park Blvd\nAltoona\, PA 16602 \nGet your ticket now.   Join us for a morning of worship to bless the diverse leadership of our region and to encourage them to consider the Person and work of Jesus. \nSponsor levels:  \n1 Speaker Sponsor ($2\,500)  \n\nEight seats\, one table\nEmail blast\nRecognition on front page of the program\nLogo on the front of the program\nSlide show\nIntroduction of keynote speaker \nPromotion in Saturate Altoona FB page\nFull Page Ad Space in the program\n\n3-5 Breakfast Sponsors ($1\,000)  \n\nEight seats per table \nEmail blast\nRecognition Logo in the program\nThe first sponsor of the Slide show\nPromotion in Saturate Altoona\nHalf Page Ad Space in the program\n\nTable sponsors ($375 – 2nd table purchase at $250)  \n\nEight seats per table\nEmail blast\nLogo\nRecognition on Slide show\nQuarter Page Ad Space in the program\n\nSingle Ticket – 25.00 per person \n  \n2024 Altoona Prayer Breakfast \n  \n**** Registration is Closed  **** \nThank you to everyone for your outpouring of generosity and excitement for this year’s event.   Please contact Jenna with any questions or final registration – jenna@jssocialagency.com \n\nTrue Stories – Altoona Prayer Breakfast  (Click to Watch Show)\n“Joy in the City Live\,” a local television show.\nThis week on Joy In The City\, True Stories we will visit Mayor Matthew Pacifico and former state senator\, John Eichelberger\, a few of the people from the very beginning of the Altoona Prayer Breakfast that made this event become possible. SUMMARY:Valley Forge Prayer Breakfast 2023
DESCRIPTION:You are invited to the 28th Annual Valley Forge Leadership Prayer Breakfast Celebration!  \n \nSince 1994\, the Valley Forge Leadership Prayer Breakfast has been an annual event where respected business\, ministry\, civil\, sports\, political\, and community leaders come together to fellowship\, network\, and share the good news of the gospel. This unique event shines a light on accomplished men and women who reflect that light onto Jesus Christ. \nFor over 20 years God has used this event to bring people to Himself as they see and hear the testimonies of successful speakers. It moves the hearts of the hearers when powerful people declare their allegiance\, submission\, and humble need for a relationship with God\, through Jesus Christ. Take advantage of this special opportunity to invite\, engage\, and evangelize with your network. \n\nKEYNOTE SPEAKER FOR 2023: Rebekah Gregory \n \nRebekah Gregory is a wife and mother whose life was forever changed due to the bombings at the Boston Marathon on April 15th\, 2013. This act of terrorism may have claimed her leg\, but it could not claim her spirit. Since then\, Rebekah has used her platform in a positive way — traveling all over the country\, speaking out against evil\, instilling hope\, and encouraging people to turn their obstacles into opportunities. \nIn 2017\, Rebekah’s first book\, “Taking My Life Back” was published. Shortly after\, she launched “Rebekah’s Angels Foundation\,” which she and her husband created to provide funding for mental health treatment to children and families suffering from trauma. They have been able to help over 300 families so far! Rebekah and her “college sweetheart-turned-husband” Chris live in Florida with their two beautiful children\, Noah and Ryleigh. To bring people in positions of authority and influence to gather together\, break bread\, and pray around the Person of Jesus of Nazareth. He completed 116 combat missions\, earned an Air Medal with five oak leaf clusters\, and was promoted to captain by the time he left the service. Today Rep. Men have embraced the opportunity to mentor at-risk boys as an important part of service.  Through monthly events and huddles we reach men with the life changing power of the gospel in brokenness and friendship.  Leo is reaching out through Del Rey Ministries (Mr. Kim Costanza) by taking short-term mission teams of men to serve the poor in the Dominican Republic while supporting a long term missionary effort of pastoral training. \nLeo has received a B.A. from Penn State (1983) and a Master of Arts in Religion degree from Trinity School for Ministry\, an evangelical seminary in the Anglican tradition (Biblical Studies concentration).
